As a young boy I fell in love with aviation. Watching my father, airshow performers, and other close relatives conquer the skies motivated me to pursue a career in aviation. I would eventually earn my commercial single-engine land and sea licenses, and my commercial multi-engine rating, allowing me to explore Alaska, and beyond. Through it all I’ve photographed my experiences.
Flying in Alaska has been by far the most interesting experience I've had to date. Every time I fly there is beauty to behold everywhere I look. This is near the Brooks range, AK.
In the early morning, oftentimes we surf above thick layers of fog resembling the sea.
Early in the winter season "termination dust" gathers at the higher elevations first.
While pursuing my commercial float rating I was afforded the experience to do the training in my great grandpa's PA-12. Since he has owned it, it's been rebuilt with many cub modifications, but remains in the family.
